The experts at Mac seem to have given up on this problem. Image Capture pops up, and the image to scan is visible, but I am not allowed to scan. As per the Lexmark site, I already enabled Access for Assistive Devices via Universal Access as they recommended as the solution, but that had no effect.
The scanner seems to work, but I cannot find the image on my MacBook and certainly not in iPHOTO where I want it (I am scanning photos). I have just tried my first scan from my Lexmark X2650 printer. Software :: Cannot Scan From Lexmark X2650 To IPHOTO? Dec 5, 2009
